This pivotal role requires a CPA and is fundamental in steering tax strategies and M&A initiatives while leading a proficient team of tax professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute tax strategies that align with overarching business goals to enhance tax efficiency.
- Offer expert counsel on both domestic and international tax issues encompassing compliance, planning, and risk management.
- Remain informed on modifications in tax legislation and evaluate their implications on the organization and its clientele.
- Lead due diligence activities associated with M&A transactions, pinpointing potential tax risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to structure transactions in a tax-efficient manner.
- Provide strategic oversight on post-merger integration and restructuring to capitalize on tax benefits.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic tax planning and M&A insights.
- Conduct engaging client meetings and presentations, elucidating complex tax concepts in an accessible manner.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while identifying avenues for additional services.
